About Us
Moonseed Magazine was founded in 2020 during the height of the pandemic as a bold response to global isolation—creating a vibrant platform to uplift and connect youth voices across the world. Since our launch, Moonseed has become a recognized and award-winning publication, showcasing over 350+ original works of poetry, fiction, nonfiction, and visual art by young creatives aged 13 to 22 from more than 40 countries. With a commitment to amplifying underrepresented perspectives and fostering global community, Moonseed continues to be a powerful launchpad for the next generation of writers and artists.
Our Team
Moonseed Magazine is proudly led by a passionate and diverse team of college students from top institutions. Our editorial staff is mentored by seasoned educators, published authors, and professional artists who help guide our mission to spotlight emerging talent.
The Process
We host bi-monthly editorial workshops to carefully review each submission, ensuring every piece receives thoughtful attention. Our contributors and guest panelists include award-winning creatives recognized by Scholastic Art & Writing Awards, YoungArts, and other prestigious platforms.
